Tache Visit Gets Tails Wagging At Waggy Tails!

Waggy Tails is a wonderful charity local to us here in Dorset, in fact they’re just down the road from Tache HQ! So, we thought it would be nice to do our bit this Christmas to help the animals in their care.

We’re all HUGE dog lovers at Tache which, we think it’s safe to say, is very evident in our cards! This year, we couldn’t be happier in supporting such a great charity who help to care for and rehome unwanted or neglected dogs in the local area. Waggy Tails was set up in 1994 and their story is all about “happy dogs, happy people and happy homes”. They have a policy where no healthy animal is ever put down which means, as well as helping dogs find their new homes, they look after dogs in long-term foster care. These are usually dogs which are too old or too poorly to be rehomed and need to be sponsored throughout their ‘retirement’.

This week we visited Waggy Tails at their sanctuary in Wimborne to give them a big box of our best-selling Krafty Christmas cards, including two of our favourite canine designs of course! We met some gorgeous dogs looking for their forever homes, including ‘Tina’ – a recent new arrival at the sanctuary – who you can see in the photo below. She’s a beautiful five-year-old Terrier / Staffie cross, who was extremely friendly and gave us lots of kisses!

The staff at Waggy Tails were really welcoming and delighted with their new stock of Krafty Christmas cards. Hopefully the cards will generate lots of much-needed cash, which is particularly important at this time of year, as unfortunately Christmas is a very busy period for unwanted dogs.

All of us at Tache would like to wish the fantastic staff at Waggy Tails, and of course their furry friends, a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
